BIO - A BORN ACTOR

Ever since I was a little girl i’ve been so deeply curious and fascinated of us earthlings - our minds, feelings, beliefs and behaviors. Therefore, acting has always come natural to me. 

I call Copenhagen, Denmark, my home.

My family originates from the beautiful country of Iran and ever since I was 4,5 years old,  we’ve resided in the beautiful eastern side of Denmark. 

I’m creative to my bones, putting my heart and soul into each project that I work on and always striving to build and diversify my portfolio. My artistic outputs result from a combination of my life experiences, my deep curiosity of us humans, training, and a great deal of research and preparation. My funny bone definitively comes from my dear mom and my need to create definitively comes from my dear dad. 

I always say “I’m an actor from the director says cut to action. And from action to cut, I’m a human being having an experience”. 

I´ve always been a super curious person and therefore I know a little about alot and alot about a little. 

As a young girl I wanted to be anything from an astronout to a midwife to an actor to lawyer to a teacher to a gardner to a psychiatrist and so on. 

I find many things interesting and acting allows me to be anything or anyone I want.

Acting is my calling and my passion! The one thing that has followed me through life, calling to me. 

And the day I chose to follow my true path, I found home.

I´m a self-taught actor. Besides geeking acting, I´ve attended workshops and classes led by some great acting coaches, directors and actors.

​

I´ve also made it my mission to bring diveristy to the forefront in danish film and TV.

I strongly believe it´s super important for young girls and boys to see themselves portrait in movies, tv series and on stage, and not just as sterotypes.

Like me, many have the calling and passion to make art and to tell stories. I want to show them that it´s possible! And most importanlty that they equally have the right to. ​
